CompTIA Security+ confirms your knowledge of communication, operational, and infrastructure security; cryptography; and all other general security concepts. It is a world wide, vendor-neutral certification taught at colleges, universities and commercial training centers everywhere on every continent. While not a prerequisite, we recommend that CompTIA Security+ candidates have at least two years on-the-job networking experience, with an emphasis on security, as well as the CompTIA Network+ certification.
