Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+)

Price: $1,395

Course Description

Course Length: 2 days

The CompTIA CDIA+ certification test was compiled by leading imaging systems vendors, distributors and various consulting organizations. In order to have a program relevant to the whole industry, all test questions were written by experienced imaging solutions professionals. CompTIA CDIA+ was launched in 1995, with an exam revision in 2002.

CESD, Inc., is an intense training environment. You MUST have an attitude aimed for success! The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience happen to have other background traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through CESD, Inc.

Prerequisites

While the CDIA+ certification is very introductory, and does NOT require much before taking our class, having these traits could help:

  • Six months of computer-using experience.
  • A decent amount of experience with copiers and flatbed scanners, especially with digitally scanning, saving, and processing both documents and images.
  • Also, a working knowledge of the various ways that different flatbed scanners attach to computers (LPT, USB, etc.).

Course Outline

  • Starting off the project.
  • Guiding the strategic direction of the project.
  • Analyzing the work environment.
  • Justifying the costs and receiving approval.
  • Identifying and documenting the proposed solution.
  • Designing the imaging technology to be used.
  • Designing the computing environment to be used.
  • Identifying the images needing to be converted.
